ASSESSING THE SAFETY AND INTEGRITY OF YOUR CHIMNEY

Uncertain about the condition of your chimney or when it was last inspected? Neglecting chimney inspections can lead to serious safety risks, including fire hazards and carbon monoxide poisoning, especially if issues go undetected and unaddressed.

CHIMNEY INSPECTION SOLUTIONS

Video Inspection

For a more in-depth analysis, we utilize state-of-the-art video technology to inspect the inner linings and flues of the chimney. This helps in identifying hidden problems that are not visible to the naked eye.

Ventilation Check

We assess the ventilation system of your chimney to ensure that it is drafting correctly. Proper drafting is essential for the safe operation of the fireplace and to prevent carbon monoxide buildup inside the home.

Creosote Deposits Evaluation

Inspection of creosote buildup is critical as it can lead to chimney fires if not cleaned properly. We evaluate the thickness and extent of creosote deposits and recommend cleaning if necessary.

Structural Integrity Test

We conduct tests to evaluate the structural stability of the chimney. This includes checking the masonry, joints, and overall construction for any potential failure points.

Chimney Cap and Crown Inspection

Inspection of the chimney cap and crown for damages that could lead to water leakage or animal intrusion. We also assess and recommend repairs or replacements if these components are not effectively protecting the chimney.

Water Leak Detection and Waterproofing Solutions

We identify any potential water entry points and provide waterproofing solutions to protect against water damage, which is one of the most common issues that can deteriorate a chimney over time.

Chimney Smell and Odor Remediation

Addressing and solving any issues related to unpleasant odors emanating from the chimney, often caused by water penetration, animal debris, or other contaminants.

Detailed Reporting

After the inspection, we provide a detailed report that includes all findings and a clear set of recommendations for maintenance or repairs.
